What makes us different is our approach. In 2003, we spotted a gap for ‘proper’ communication design in a market obsessed with superficial styling.

The normal scenario is for an agency to take a brief from a client and to make a visual interpretation of that brief. This is then published and thrown at a group of people who have not been considered or consulted, i.e. the client’s customer.

When communications do not resonate with this target group they do not succeed. And therein lies the problem. Since most companies think they are selling one thing and their clients think they are buying another, producing communication tools in this way is almost destined to fail.

We saw an opportunity to design marketing tools in the same way that you might design a good product. We research our customers’ customers. We get to know the distribution channels. We understand what will benefit and inspire the end user and interpret our client’s communications to deliver in these areas. We consider distribution and also the return path (i.e. what happens next, how does this communication evolve into a business transaction).

We are also unusual insofar as we have a great deal of depth at the highest level in both print design and web design. We have been recognized through national awards in both areas. Given the ever-growing need for integration between all marketing channels, this is an increasingly essential skill-set.

We are technically very knowledgeable for creative designers which we feel is very much an advantage given the importance of electronic channels and the need to integrate across these media.

For all these reasons we deliver communication tools that are more compelling and essential by design. And this is a critical USP in our industry.
